2. What are the clinical features?

- Fatigue and muscle weakness: Often the earliest signs
- Weight loss and poor appetite
- Salt craving: Due to aldosterone deficiency
- Dehydration: Resulting from sodium loss
- Hypotension and dizziness: Especially postural (orthostatic hypotension)
- Darkening of the skin (hyperpigmentation):
- Most noticeable on hands, face, nipples, gums, and genitalia
- Caused by elevated ACTH stimulating melanocytes
- Gastrointestinal symptoms:
- Nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, and diarrhea
- Cold intolerance
- Mood changes: Irritability, depression, or apathy
